Ayako KATO

Ayako KATO performs a wide range of classical and contemporary music, new musics, and improvisations, and has appeared in performances organized by the Ichikawa City Cultural Promotion Foundation, Odawara Cultural Foundation, and the Japan Contemporary Music Society.
In 2019, she held her debut recital “Complex.” in Japan. It was reviewed in the music web magazine “Mercure Des Arts”.
In 2021, she received a Master’s diploma from the Belgian conservatory “IMEP”. She completed both the concerto exam, in which she performed violin concerto “The Dreaming Trees” by Dutilleux, and the recital exam, which included improvisation, with the highest scores of the year. She then returned completely to Japan.
In 2024, “SAKUHIN #3 Improvisation by an Actor, Violinist, and Hornist”, a joint project with actor Yui Okamoto, was selected for the Arts Council Tokyo Start-up Grant.
Representative of the arts organization “IMPRO LIBRE”. Member of the Shinshu-based group “Yamabico Lab.” with composer Yukiko Watanabe and Mayuko Matsumoto.

Ayako KATO interprète un large éventail de musique classique et contemporaine, de nouvelles œuvres, d’improvisation, et de les arts du spectacle, et s’est produite lors de spectacles organisés par la Fondation pour la promotion culturelle de la ville d’Ichikawa, la Fondation culturelle d’Odawara et la Société japonaise de musique contemporaine.
En 2019, elle a donnée son premier récital « Complex » au Japon. Il a fait l’objet d’une critique dans le magazine web musical « Mercure Des Arts ».
En 2021, elle a obtenu un diplôme de maîtrise du conservatoire belge « IMEP ». Elle réussit à la fois l’examen de concerto, au cours duquel il interprète le concerto pour violon « L’arbre rêveur » de Dutilleux, et l’examen de récital, qui comprend de l’improvisation, avec les meilleures notes de l’année. Elle est ensuite retourné complètement au Japon.
En 2024, « SAKUHIN #3 Improvisation par Actrice, Violoniste, et Corniste », un projet commun avec l’actrice Yui Okamoto, a été sélectionné pour l’Arts Council Tokyo Start-up Grant.
Elle est également comme représentant de l’organisation artistique « IMPRO LIBRE ». Membre du groupe « Yamabico Lab. » basé à Shinshu, avec la compositrice Yukiko Watanabe et Mayuko Matsumoto.
